Convenience sampling was utilized and recruited patients from a south regional teaching hospital, during February, 2014 and October, 2014. The study was a follow up study design. A set of questionnaire with the cardiac symptoms scale, compliance scale, 12-item Short-Form Health Survey (SF-12) were use to collect cardiac symptom , adherence, and the quality of life. Data were analyzed with SPSS 18.0 for window software. The main results include: (1) following cardiac stent implementation, patients experienced chest pain, shortness breath, and tired or very tired frequently. Post cardiac stenting up to six months, patients’ chest pain have improved significantly (p< .05). (2) Six months after cardiac stenting, cardiac symptoms of dyspnea, fatigue, palpitations, poor appetite are significantly related to the physical component of the quality of life (p <.05). In addition, fatigue, depression, difficulty sleeping, anxiety or stress, poor appetite are negatively related to the mental face of the quality of life (p<.05).
