The purpose of the study is to explore the implementation, feature, and difficulty of life education in junior high school. In addition, the study proposes the adaptability of Nel Noddings' ethics of care and Viktor Frankl’s three main avenues for reaching meaning in life on life education in junior high school. Eventually, it provides related conclusions of curriculum design of life education in junior high school.
Focus Group Interview is adopted in the research in order to extensively collect data about the implementation of life education in junior high school. The researcher collects data of 35 junior high schools from the 6 focus group interviews hold in the northern, middle and southern Taiwan by a related research.The editing style is adopted in this qualitative research as a means of analizing the collected data.
Based on the findings of this research, the conclusions are about the curriculum design of life education based on junior high school students and teachers. Recommendations are proposed as reference for educational authorities, schools and future researchers.
