Summary:碩士 === 國立中山大學 === 環境工程研究所 === 103 === Database Management System (DBMS) is applied to the managing air pollution sin in construction engineering in Kaohsiung city. In accordance with emission factors and prevention efficiency issued by Environmental Protection Administration, Executive Yuan, DBMS with 2NF consists of two major system frames: fee on air pollution and inspection of construction engineering. There are five functions of DBMS: database system, filing and management on fee on air pollution, pollution control, estimation of air pollution and control statistics, and declaration statistics and report. The results show that the most important works of those functions are to revised data, submit data, estimate the amount of pollution, and search relevant information. Moreover, the data can be analyzed with various selecting conditions. The statistics show a total of 5,314 construction cases in 2014, with 4,547 cases finished, which summing up to NTD 125,643,11 collected by the Kaohsiung government. Inspection on the construction site was 19,591 times, with the coverage ratio of 58.57%, the percentage inspection emissions of 76.18%, the percentage emission reductions of 48.35%, and the percentage confirmations of regulation of 58.41%.
