碩士 === 國立中山大學 === 經濟學研究所 === 103 === In this paper, we use game theory to investigate infidelity. Under the complete information, we divide spouse into two categories: amorous type and solemn type. We pair these two types, in the pairing process, we get the optimal strategy and response method. After the addition of family responsibility this factor, we prove the spouse has family responsibility will tolerate the other party infidelity. In the case of incomplete information, the spouse must make decisions in monitoring and not monitoring. We find that when a spouse caught the other spouse having an affair, raise the cost of litigation can increase settlement space.
