I just entered the field of public preschool education, even though I already have teaching experience for almost a decade. When I passed the assessment and admitted to become an official teacher, my life supposed to be comfortable and contented. However, I felt anxious when I confronted these changes, including the new environment, new tasks and new roles. Therefore, I started the journey of narrating my own story to find the reason for my anxiety. At the outset, I would like to look for what I was afraid of. I stopped to listen to my words calmly from my heart. I started to face myself, distinguished the confusion and anxiety on my preschool career, clarified self-worth and belief, and then gradually comprehended what I was afraid of, which are issues in the field of public preschool education including team teaching problem, course design for multi-age teaching, stress of Early Childhood Education Administration, and parental concerns on me. During the course of writing this study, I have also progressively discovered the growth and conversion in my professional development. Gains from this research are: 1. Self-Narrative helped me to find the root causes of fear. 2. The development process of teachers'' professional is gradual and continuous. 3. The inside of the development process of teachers'' professional and its future path. a. Multi-age teaching is the future trend and continuing challenges for public kindergartens. b. Schools should separate teaching and administrative divisions clearly in order to maintain a good quality of teaching in preschool education. Ying- Yao Cheng 鄭英耀 2015 學位論文 ; thesis 106 zh-TW
