The research samples are 780 university-industry cooperation projects supported by the “Ministry of Education technical colleges and industrial parks for industry cooperation grants Program” in 2008 and 2009. The responding questionnaires were collected by Tsao (2011) and Zhen (2011) and respectively were 319 and 173 ones. The pairs of questionnaire in total were 64 ones. The results of this study showed that interactive frequency had significant positive effects on capital and the cognitive capital. Formal resource interaction mechanism had the significant positive effects on the capital and the cognitive capital. The relational capital had the significant positive effects on the industry-university collaboration continuing. In addition, the relational capital had positively mediate effect on the relationship between interactive frequency and the industry-university collaborative continuity and between formal resource interaction mechanism and the industry-university. We suggest that teachers need to pay more attention on contacting continuously with firms and establish the formal management mechanism which can transfer the knowledge in the university-industry cooperation. The formal management mechanism can increase the relationship capital and also enhance industry-university collaborative continuity. In addition, we used paired questionnaire to avoid single source bias. Finally, theoretical contribution, managerial implications, and future research directions are discussed.
