Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東科技大學 === 車輛工程系所 === 103 === In this research, finite element analysis is used to evaluate structural strength and fatigue analysis of 4D virtual reality simulator in motion and static state. A finite element model of 4D virtual reality simulator is established using software HyperMesh. Static analysis is performed to evaluate the static strength and fatigue life prediction based on EU standard EN 13814 and EN 1993-1-9. Dynamic simulation is then performed based on the scenario of the film of 4D simulator. The movement of platform and seats are driven by six driving cylinders, which are critical to carry the load. The time histories of displacement of driving cylinders are measured using a laser equipment, and then enter the software, LS-DYNA. The dynamic stresses is obtained from the simulation and then used to predict the fatigue life of structure and components. A software nCode is used for fatigue analysis, based on rain-flow method and Miner’s rule.
