Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東大學 === 生態休閒教育教學碩士學位學程 === 103 === The purpose of this study was to explore the tourist anglers leisure motivation and leisure benefit in Matsu islands, and analysis the differences population backgrounds items in the leisure motivation and leisure benefit. This study adopted a questionnaire survey, 430 tourist anglers in Matsu islands were sampled from January to April, 2014. Among the 430 questionnaires, 359 recovered, and 349of the 359 questionnaires were valid responses, which reached a return rate of 81.16%.The main methodologies were applied the descriptive stastics, factor analysis, one-way MANOVA, Scheffé post hoc comparison, and canonical correlation analysis. The results show as follows: 1. Most of the Matsu tourist anglers are male, married, age between 41-50 years old, senior high school or vocational school graduates, living in the northern part of Taiwan, working for the service industry, average of monthly income between NT$50,001 to 70,000. The time spent in fishing is 11-15 years, and they participate salt-water fishing three or four times monthly, average of monthly fishing spending is among NT$5,001 to 8,000. 2. The leisure motivation average is about medium-high level, and the "physical and mental health" is the highest aspect. 3. The results indicated that the education background, marriage, and fishing spending in leisure motivation showed the differences. 4. The leisure benefit average is about medium-high level, and the physiological benefit is the highest aspect. 5.The results indicated that the education background, marriage, career, average of monthly income, seniority, fishing frequency, and fishing spending in leisure benefit showed the differences. 6. There was a significant positive correlation between leisure motivation and leisure benefit in Matsu tourist anglers. positive correlation
