Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東大學 === 應用物理系碩士班 === 103 === ZnO is an important wide-band-gap material for optoelectronics and transparent electronics applications. The integration of magnetic nanomaterial and semiconductor is expected to bring the spin degree of freedom into semiconductor for spintronics application. In this work, we report that room-temperature magneto-optical properties emerges at the interface formed between ZnO nanorods and Co nanoclusters. The spectra of the optical density could be changed and the field-dependence of optical density isproportional to the magnetic hysteresis. Scanning electron microscopy studies implies the Co/ZnO interfaces, and the extensive structural defects appear to be relevant to the emergent magneto-optical properties.
