Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立屏東大學 === 科普傳播學系數理教育碩士班 === 103 === This study was aimed to improve students’ learning performance on geometric proof by using electronic whiteboards as a teaching media and figures extracting method to demonstrate the relationship between triangles. There were 29 students who were in the 9th grade participated in the study. The researcher implemented four lesson, 360 minutes instruction on geometric topic. Videotaped and interviewed were used to collect data during and after lesson. Base on the data that included video, audio and researcher’s reflection to revise teaching materials and processes. The results indicated that, at the beginning of the study, the students’ reasoning thinking and skills of geometric proof were not proficient, but in the middle, they would like to discuss their reasoning process with the researcher in class, and presented different methods of proof. At the last stage of the study, the students had been able to write a complete record of reasoning to prove. According to the posttest results on cognition and attitude, students showed highly correct rate on the cognitive test that was up to 78%, and there were 59% students liked the instructional way with the electronic whiteboard. Above 83% students considered integrating electronic whiteboard into geometric proofs instruction would be helpful to raise their learning interests, and the way of figures extracting could help them to understand the questions and identify the relations between shapes.
