Summary: | 碩士 === 國立屏東大學 === 特殊教育學系碩士班 === 103 === The main purpose of this study was to investigate the current status of assessment accommodation and the frequency used by special education teachers of elementary schools in Tainan City,and the attitude and opinions of carrying out assessment accommondation on students with disabilities .
Using "The Current Status of Tainan City Elementary School Special Education Teachers’ Using of Assessment Accommodation Questionnaire” as a research tool, a total number of 234 questionnaires were distributed. The valid samples were 187, and the recovery rate was 79.9%. The valid questionnaires had been analyzed by frequency distribution, percentage, average medium, t test,and one-way ANOVA. The following conclusions were obtained:
(1) The major way of special education teachers using assessment accommodation was " discuss with general class teachers”, “discuss in special education-related meetings (eg: IEP meeting),and” discuss with parents " .
(2) More than half of schools participated in the study established the interrelated regulations of assessment accommodation implementation .
(3) The implementation of the frequency of assessment accommodation differed by "sex," "general class teaching seniority", "as a special education teacher seniority", " the number of students", "the segment of teaching students ", "the class" and "whether the school established the interrelated regulations of assessment accommodation implementation “ .
(4) The attitude of assessment accommodation implementation differed by"Sex", "Age", " general class teaching seniority ", "as a special education teacher seniority", "teacher qualification", "the segment of teaching students ", " the class" and "whether the school established the interrelated regulations of assessment accommodation implementation “ .
(5)Most special education teachers to implement assessment accommodation found it difficult to the direction of questions presentation .
(6) Special education teachers expected general teachers and parents to realize the meaning of assessment accommodation, to systematize assessment accommodation,and hope to have more administrative support and manpower on.
Based on the above conclusions,were provided suggestions to schools and educational agencies,special and general education teachers,the parents of students and the further research.
