There are 4 main goals of this study. Firstly, to discuss the misconceptions and reasons of mistakes that low performing mid-level elementary students have regarding angles. Second, study the effect of MathPS on low performing mid-level elementary students regarding angles. Third, discourse the attitude of low performing mid-level elementary students regarding angles. Fourthly, Discuss low performing mid-level elementary students’ progress in mathematical angles, and the reflections of their teachers. The study was done on the researcher's own students at a local Pingtung elementary who are in grade 3 and grade 4. The study consists of the pilot study and then the formal study, which adopts the use of evaluation tests, after school worksheets, and then final evaluation tests as well as the MathPS research tools. All collected data was then analyzed to determine their misconceptions, develop material to help them improve, and finally, statistical analysis of their results, improvement, and effectiveness was analyzed. The results of this study is as follows: 1.Misconceptions and reasons of mistakes that weaker students have on angles can be categorized in 7 ways. (1)Students felt that when and angle is longer, the degree of the angle is greater, and when the angle is shorter, the degree of the angle is shorter. (2)Students felt that when the line stemming from an angle becomes longer, the angle of degree becomes greater. (3)Students that cannot understand mathematical word problems cannot answer the questions. (4)Students are unclear that two lines that meet at a common point to create an angle. (5)Students are unclear how the hands of a clock revolve are similar to the study of angles. (6)When using a protractor, and not aligning the starting point at an angle of zero degrees, students are unable to calculate the proper degree of angle. (7)Students think that the size of the angle is determined my the opening of the angle, and therefore the larger it is, the greater the degree of the angle. 2.Students that use MathPS show a large improvement. 3.MathPS can increase students' understanding of the unit of angles, as well as improve their confidence, and interest in it. 4.MathPS sequential, gradual, animated pictures allow students to understand the concept and the skills needed to solves problems with angles. 5.MathPS in conjunction with students' actual practice doing mathematical problems allow students to have better results. 6.MathPS can repeatedly show how to do a mathematical problem, it is convenient to adjust as needed, and repeats the advantages of learning.
