The research took elementary pupils-parents whose kids studied in public elementary schools of Kaohsiung City in 2014 as subjects, used self-made “questionnaires of teacher’s images and parent-teacher relationship” as research tool to take samples from 26 schools by stratified cluster sampling, and there were 485 effective questionnaires returned. Finally, all the data received were analyzed by t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation, multiple stepwise regression analysis etc., and the conclusions were as follows: 1. The elementary pupils-parents' perception of teacher’s images were quite well in Kaohsiung;especially the “general images ” was predominated;less common in turn were “professional images” & “personal images”.. 2. The elementary pupils-parents regard emotional stability as the most important quality of teacher;less common in turn were “concern about the students”. 3. The status of parent-teacher relationship at elementary school in Kaohsiung were quite well;especially the “trust of teaching” was predominated;less common in turn were “satisfaction of communication” & “interaction and commitment”. 4. The elementary pupils-parents in Kaohsiung consider the initiative communication with tolerance is an important performance of parent-teacher relationship promotion, so that parents can feel the ability and sincerity of teacher . 5. The elementary pupils-parents in Kaohsiung hope teacher can make them comprehend the living and learning situation of students by the parent-teacher communication. 6. Different elementary pupils-parents are prevalently have good awareness of teacher's images and the quality of parent-teacher relationship. 7. The elementary pupils-parents were more aware of teacher's images, the more they perceptive of parent-teacher relationship;similarly, the more perceptive of parent-teacher relationship, the better awareness of teacher's images. 8.The teacher's images have direct influence to the quality of parent-teacher relationship, especially the relation between “career images” and parent-teacher relationship.
