It was intended to explore the correlation of three variables, including test-taking motivation & cognitive value, cognitive value & involvement, and test-taking motivation & involvement. In addition, it is aimed to examine the causal relationship of test-taking motivation & cognitive value on involvement. Through purposive sampling, 558 valid samples were selected in this study. Research methods include T-test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe, Canonical Correlation Analysis, Pearson’s Product-moment Canonical and M Multiple Stepwise Regression Analysis. The results of this study showed that 1) there is a significant difference of different demographic variables in test-taking motivation, cognitive value and psychological value. 2) There is a positive correlation of the three variables, including Test-taking motivation & cognitive value, cognitive value & involvement, and test-taking motivation & involvement. 3) Test-taking motivation & cognitive value has a positive effect on involvement.
