Generally, the small wind turbine system manufacturers that design is simple, technical barriers should not be high, as long as the blades and generator and controller systems can be composed of a wind turbine. However, the small wind turbine system must be developed in addition to aerodynamic, mechanical construction, but also power electronics knowledge and technology in order to develop a complete wind turbine systems. On experience in the National Penghu University of Science and Technology windmill park tested several commercial small wind turbine which proved most damaging phenomenon has occurred blade suffered strong winds blowing off at the wear and tear of fixed blade root, generator coil burning, electrical controller burned, wind turbine poor weather resistance and severe corrosion resonance fault, the wind turbine tower operation led to the collapse of the fracture, the tail wind turbine connecting rod deflection caused by wear and tear, and so because of long swing. The results showed that the wind turbine has not been rigorous design and planning and testing, will be difficult to pass certification, increase competitiveness. In this paper, the performance will be vendors at National Penghu University of Science and Technology windmill park's small wind turbine test analyzes, and comparison the properties of Maximum Power Point Tracking (MPPT) between Optimal Power Control (OPC).
