On the development of the system platform, for example: Google play on Android systems and the APP Store on Apple iOS systems.More informationcan be easily and quickly learnedby smart phones, since the APPs effectively combinemany multimedia, including text, graphics, sound, animation and video to develop innovative interfaces. Popularity of smart mobile devices has driven the applications of augmented reality in daily life things. Many augmented reality applications combined traditional industries and modern technology to develop innovation applications. With augmented reality (AR) technology becoming more and more mature, the standardused to specify the marker forAR is not enough yet.Therefore, the purpose of this paper is to propose the design of a simple augmented reality marker forfeature point detection, and to find a more suitable, excellent material for the markers. We proposed standard procedures and discovermany excellent marker materials applied in AR applications. In addition, the practical AR applicationsusing cloud systems are implemented.A more stableAR marker is designed,and methodsare recommendedtoreduce operating costs and increase application ranges.
