The saying goes that children regret in the later days for not being able to regurgitate parents' love before they pass away. It often, however occurs frequently. The important concept of appreciating what we are inspires the artist to make the 34-page picture book regarding Demetia with the assists of computer graphics techniques. The creator applied the theory Semiotics for designing the characters, gestures and poses as well as the background to interpret information and story with the illustrated images. The theoretical method was mainly bases on Documentary Analysis, focused on the theory of Semiotics, the academic journals on Demetia and related picture books. Based on the above-mentioned researches, the author was able to complete the artwork with insight. The author wishes this study would help picture book illustrators on their creations in the future.
