Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 人力與知識管理研究所 === 103 === The goal of this research is to understand the current situation of employment for Mainland Spouses in Kaohsiung City and to discuss the relevance of employed and unemployed Mainland Spouses in different background varieties. From 270 effective questionnaires out of 400 issued questionnaires from Mainland Spouses in Kaohsiung City, the questionnaires are analyzed by the methods of Descriptive and Independent T-test. The results are as following: Summarize the reasons they stop seeking the job on different age: to give a birth and take care of family among 20-29 years old; disagree from family among 30-39 years old; transpotation and employer among 40-49 years; family economy has improved and health concern among 50-59 yeas old; acknowledge no chance to work and no adequate job because of their limited qulification above 60 years old. In addition, it is relevant to the educated years in their mother country, such as the reason why they quit their latest job, the reason why they stopped seeking a job, the reason why they wanted to switch to another job or to look for an additional job, the understanding of employment benefits and employment projects. As to language, the major reasons to stop seeking a job for excellent Mandarin ability are to give a birth, acknowledge no chance to work. The reasons why they are still unemployed even they meet a chance to work are terrible environment and age concern. Taiwanese ability has a direct influence on the understanding of employment benefits and employment projects for Mainland Spouses. Conclude the above results, I'd like to issue 4 suggestions for relative immigrant policies and service: Government's policies for Mainland Spouses should be based on the human right, government should empower the Mainland Spouses organization to connect effective resources to coach Mainland Spouses sustainably, government should formulate suitable employment policies, and government should ease Mainland Spouses' economic pressure during training period.
