Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 教育學系 === 103 === A Study on the Relationships among Parental Participation in School Affairs, School Organizational Culture and Teachers' Job Involvement in Junior High Schools in Kaohsiung County Advisor:Wei-Chi Chung Student:Mei-Li Su Abstract This research aimed at understanding the status quo of and developing the relationship among parental participation in school affairs, school organizational culture, and teachers' job involvement in junior high schools, and revealing the predictability of parental participation in school affairs and school organizational culture to teachers' job involvement. This study adopted questionnaire survey and used revised “The questionnaire of parental participation in junior high schools affairs”, “The questionnaire of junior high schools organizational culture” and “The questionnaire of junior high schools teachers' job involvement” as instruments and randomly selected 522 teachers as study participants. Descriptive statistics, independent sample t-test, one-way ANOVA, stepwise multiple regression were employed to analyze collected data. The major results of this research are summarized as follows: 1. The status quo of parental participation in junior high school affairs, school organizational culture and teachers' job involvement were shown at high level by the study’s instruments. 2. Parental participation in junior high school affairs were different by teachers’ gender, job, school districts, school size and school history. 3. The organizational culture of Junior high schools was different from teachers’ gender, education, age, job, school districts, school size and school history. 4. Teachers' job involvement in junior high schools was different by teachers’ years of service, age, job, school district and school history. 5.The correlation of parental participation in school affairs, school organizational culture and teachers' job involvement in junior high schools were positive significantly. 6. Parental participation in school affairs and school organizational culture in junior high schools were the good predictors of teachers' job involvement.
