Abstract
This research aimed at probing into junior high school's administrators’ information literacy, knowledge management , and organization innovative performance in Kaohsiung city. First, collected information on domestic and international information literacy, knowledge management and organization innovative performance to be explored and analyzed. Secondly, proposed research framework, preparation questionnaire and try-out, pursuant to develop this research tool – “ A research on the relationship among junior high school's administrators’ information literacy, knowledge management and organization innovative performance in Kaohsiung city.”
This study used questionnaires, junior high school's administrators in Kaohsiung were the research object, stratified sampling method to extract 49 schools, and the total of valid samples is 501. After the questionnaires, the information was processed by statistical methods such as descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson’s product-moment correlation and stepwise multiple regression.
Based on this research reaches the following conclusions:
1. Regarding the information literacy, knowledge management , and organization innovative performance, the perception of junior high school's administrators’ in Kaohsiung city was above average.
2.The effects of gender, graduate school and current position on the information literacy were significant.
3. The effects of gender, age, years of teaching experience and current position on the knowledge management were significant.
4. The effects of gender and school size on the organization innovative performance were significant.
5.The greater perception of information literacy and knowledge management resulted in higher scores on organization innovative performance.
6. Junior high school's administrators' information literacy and knowledge management significantly and effectively predicted organization innovative performance in Kaohsiung city. Especially, the innovation in knowledge was the most crucial factor.
Finally, suggestions are given to the education authorities, school managers, school's administrators and future researchers.
