Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄師範大學 === 跨領域藝術研究所 === 103 === “Human beings” are creatures living in natural environment, and should inhabit with nature harmoniously as well as respect it. However, with the advance and changes of technology, industries along with lifestyles, humans’ materialistic desires expand endlessly like an abysmal hole. We take more resources from nature, and usually, with greater costs. The ecosystem of mountains and sea is no longer the same. Therefore, this study will start the project, “Take Flowers to the Sea,” and engage people in protecting our sea. The project will be carried out by telling stories and raising people’s awareness of ocean pollution. The goal is to relate the audiences with the stories, and inspire them to take actions in protecting our environment. In this project, I used my personal experiences with the sea as my sharing materials and took these stories into thirteen schools in Chi-ku, Tainan. After listening to my stories, the kids were encouraged to convey their feelings by drawing flowers and taking them to the sea. Afterwards, I invited those children to observe the changes of their hometown on the beach in Chi-ku, and connected our strength together to protect the sea. At last, the whole process of this project was recorded as picture books and continued its mission. I hope through reading my picture books, people can be understanding and pay respect to our nature.
