The goal is to understand the current situation of learning motivation, life adaptation, and learning satisfaction for foreign exchange students from China in Taiwan. The study will also compare and contrast of different backgrounds for foreign exchange student from China to understand the differences of learning motivation, life adaptation, and learning satisfaction between them. From the result, a analytical model is built to study the relationship between learning motivation, life adaptation, and learning satisfaction; then a forecast can be predicted utilizing the statistic results. A conclusion and suggestion is provided so universities, foreign exchange student from China, and researcher can use it for further study. The primary method of the research is performed via surveying, The target universities where the surveying foreign exchange students are from include National Chengchi University, National Yang-Ming University, Tamkang University, Overseas Chinese University, Nan Kai University of Technology, National Chung Cheng University, Southern Taiwan University of Science and Technology, Kun Shan University, Chia Nan University of Pharmacy and Science, Cheng Shiu University, I-Shou University, Wenzao Ursuline University of Languages, and National Dong Hwa University; the sampling is also proportional to the number of students in each university and is sampled randomly. There are totally 556 samples. The result of the survey is analyzed with statistics by SSPS 18.0. The statistical methodology includes item analysis, factor analysis, reliability analysis, average, standard deviation, independent sample T test, one way anova, Scheffe post hoc comparison, Pearson product-moment correlation, SMRA. From the analysis a conclusion is gathered: 1. Foreign exchange students from China have medium to high positive impression on learning motivation. "Knowledge pursuit interests" has the highest score amongst options in the category 2. Foreign exchange students from China have above average impression on life adaptation. "Interactive adaptation" has the highest score amongst options in the category 3. Foreign exchange students from China have above average impression on learning satisfaction. "Cross-straight experience" has the highest score amongst options in the category. 4. Foreign exchange students from China in private universities have higher impressions on "touring interests" in learning motivation, "class, administration, and teaching satisfaction" and "cross-straight experience" in learning satisfaction than their counterparts in public universities. 5. Foreign exchange students from China in private technology universities have higher impressions on "knowledge pursuit interests" in learning motivation and "class, administration, and teaching satisfaction" in learning satisfaction than their counterparts in private regular universities. 6. Foreign exchange students from China in finance and management schools have higher impression on "self development" in learning motivation than foreign language and art schools. 7. Foreign exchange students from China from families with annual household income between 160000 to 399999 RMB have higher impression on "touring interests" in learning motivation than their counterparts from families with less than 80000 RMB annual household income. 8. The foreign exchange students from China are generally from families with annual household income between 80000 and 159999 RMB. 9. Foreign exchange students from China adapts better if they have higher learning motivation, it also indicates a higher learning satisfaction. 10. The "interactive adaptation" of foreign exchange students from China has the most predictability toward overall learning satisfaction, "class, administration, and teaching satisfaction", and social satisfaction. 11. The "cross cultural adaptation" of foreign exchange students from China has the most predictability toward "cross straight experience satisfaction".
