| Summary: | 碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 科技法律研究所 === 103 === With rapid information technological development, a rise of the Internet of Things (IoT) is veryfast, and in order to react and catch up with this trend, every country is trying to enact corresponding strategies and develop the related IoT industry plans. IoT development is a hot issue in industry, especially in recent year, China keeps promoting its slogan, “Preception China”, and zealously deploys the related IoT patent, so Taiwaness companies should catch up with this trend, combine their technical advantages with China’s market to obtain the opportunity to participate in enacting the international technical standard for IoT. Therefore, in regard to the interaction between cross-strait IoT industries and patents, not only the strategies of patent portfolio, but also the patent application practices should be observed. Because is patent protection the precondition for obtaining a huge market and the developments and applications of IoT are fast, so the portfolio and quick examination of IoT patents are critical to success in this field. When the patent applicants undergo cross-strait patent portfolio, early publication of patent can be utilized to speed up or substantiate the examination of patent application in accordance with prioritized examination requirement and therefor suitable to the specific traits of IoT patent application.
