Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立高雄第一科技大學 === 金融研究所 === 103 === This paper investigates the interrelationships between Taiwan’s GDP and macroeconomic index including total net tax revenue, agriculture, forestry livestock, price index of agriculture, forestry livestock & fishery product, expenditures of national treasury, and unemployment rate during 1991 to 2003. We conducted unit root test, granger causality test, vector auto regression, forecast error variance decomposition model, and impulse response function. The results show that there is a bilateral feedback between Taiwan GDP and total net tax revenue, unemployment rate, price index of agriculture and forestry livestock & fishery product. unemployment rate and total net tax revenue also show a bilateral relationship , but not total net tax revenue and price index of agriculture, forestry livestock & fishery product were not. Due to the significant effect on Taiwan’s GDP , governments are ad used to add the output value of agriculture, forestry livestock & fishery product into their consideration of resources allocation to improve the infrastructures of local development.
