Summary:碩士 === 南華大學 === 國際事務與企業學系亞太研究碩士班 === 103 ===   This study aimed at discussing effect created from the improvement of pupil acknowledgment of local culture through experimental curriculum of music and feasibility for Taiwan local music curriculum implemented in an elementary school.   The subjects in this study were a total of 12 students studying at the 5th grade in an elementary school of Nantou County for a period of 24 weeks of music curriculum. Among such 36 courses, performance of improvement on pupil acknowledgment of local culture through music curriculum in this study was discussed by collection of materials including but not limited to teacher’s design in the teaching mode, video recording on class, student’s interview records, learning sheet and parental interview records.   Indicated from the findings, pupil acknowledgment of local culture is able to be improved through implementation of music curriculum and reach to the optimized effect by virtue of scaffolding-based support from teachers or parents; finally, several suggestions were made pursuant to the findings herein.
