Taking “traditional teaching” in first period, “Applying electronic textbook APPs to the flipped classroom teaching” in second period and “traditional teaching” in third period to discuss the impact on students learning performances and attitudes after learning “column and cone”, “circle”, “complex graphic of circles”, “volume and superficies”. Besides, the study will display the differences between students’ learning satisfaction and thoughts about using electronic textbook APPs. And we also used classroom observations, reflection records and interviews with students to analyze the researcher’s teaching designs and did the corrections in using electronic textbooks APPs in the class. According to the result of study, researcher proposes specific suggestions for teaching reference. The study found that:
1. Students’ learning performances have noticeable progress in learning mathematics. However,
the effect of using the ideas of the flipped classroom and applying electronic textbook APPs to the class is better than using traditional teaching.
2. Students’ learning attitudes have noticeable progress in learning mathematics. However, the
effect of using the ideas of the flipped classroom and applying electronic textbook APPs to the class is better than using traditional teaching.
3. Most of the students are satisfied and have positive thoughts on using electronic textbook
APPs in learning mathematics.
