碩士 === 國立新竹教育大學 === 教育與學習科技學系 === 103 === The purpose of this study is to investigate the current situations and to construct the new image of elementary school principal's leadership in Taiwan from experts and scholars. This study is supported by literature review and delphi survey questionnaire called “ The Elementary School Principal's Leadership Image”. The delphi questionnaire was applied three rounds and given to 20 experts and scholars from 9 college professors, 7 school principals and 4 school directors. Afterwards, the researcher combines and analyzes the data of the questionnaire and submits the conclusions and recommendations of this study. The conclusions from this study are as follows: 1. The principal's leadership image includes 3 major levels “the principal's trait image”,“the principal's faith image” , “the principal's behavior image” and has totally 48 items. 2. In Taiwan the principal's trait image includes “intelligence and knowledge” , “courage” , “humanity and Love” , “justice” , “self-cultivation” and “spiritual transcendence”. 3. In Taiwan the principal's faith image includes “trust” , “efficacy” , “importance of student learning”. 4. In Taiwan the principal's behavior image includes “vision creating” , “professional talents developing” , “community organizing” , “instruction leading” , “environment establishing”. According to the above findings, a few suggestions are proposed as reference for educational administrations, current and prospective principals and as a future research reference.
