Summary: | 碩士 === 國立新竹教育大學 === 人力資源與數位學習科技研究所 === 103 === The purpose of this research was to understand the situation of quality of working life and turnover intention for tour managers. It discusses the differences of personal property between quality of working life and turnover intention and the relationship between quality of working life and turnover intention.
Questionnaire survey method was employed in this research while it makes use of tour managers of research. There were 179 copies of questionnaire were valid. The content of questionnaire includes the scale for quality of working life, scale for turnover intention of employee and personal information. It uses statistic software SPSS to analyze these data.Descriptive statistics analysis, t-Test, One way ANOVA, Pearson product-moment correlation and multiple-regression analysis were used to process these information. The results are as follows:
1. An average of 3.45 of tour managers and its affiliated personnel present their degree of satisfaction about quality of working life.The degree of satisfaction with “working stratification plane” is the highest among all factors (4.01), and others in order were: “individual stratification plane (3.19),” and “organization stratification plane (3.12).”
2. An average of 3.01 tour managers has shown their agreement on turnover intention.
3. Different backgrounds of tour managers has shown different degree of perceptions about quality of working life. Among all the factors, age, educational , marital status, language, area and the scale has the most obvious difference.
4. Different backgrounds of the tour managers non-has shown different degree of perceptions about turnover intention.
5. Between the quality of working life and the turnover intention, their factors were all positive related.
According to the research and statistic analysis, suggestions were presented as follows:
1. Establish and improve a fair and reasonable salary and benefits and reward system, promotion and smooth communication channels.
2. Timely provide employee assistance program, working and life adjustment gap, and get support of family and friends.
3. Expanding the area of research to cover the whole tourist guide and qualitative research or case by case.
