The main treatments include chemical, radiation therapy and palliative care. Patients received medical treatment, many symptoms they frequently experienced. Current studies show that fatigue, dyspnea and cough are a consistent cluster of symptoms appeared in lung cancer patients. Those symptoms may cause negative outcomes, such as high mortality and poor life quality. However, currently the evidence for symptom cluster management is insufficient. According to the evidence level and clinical practice consideration ,the systematic literature review was used to construct bundle care intervention for clinical validation. Aim: The purpose of this study was to investigate symptom cluster of fatigue, dyspnea and cough, the effectiveness of bundle care intervention to manage a 4-week in lung cancer patients during chemotherapy. Method: This study was a quasi-experimental study design. A total of 62 lung cancer patients were recruited from an academic center in the northern Taiwan. These patients were divided into two groups (experimental v.s. control ) using randomized assignment. The data was collected at four time points: prior to the intervention, two weeks, three weeks, and four weeks after receiving the intervention. The structural questionnaires include brief fatigue inventory, reduce cancer dyspnea Scale, manchester cough in lung cancer scale and core quality of life questionnaire were usetd for data collaction. SPSS 21.0 version software was used for data analysis. The descriptive data were analysised by average and standard deviation. Chi-square test, independent sample t-test, and generalized estimating equation statistical method were used for inferential analysis. The p value < 0.05 considered as the statistically significant level. Result: The study results showed that the bundle care intervention improved symptom cluster in lung cancer patients not only the symptom cluster include fatigue, dyspnea, and cough but also the quality of life and functional aspect including physical, role, emotional, cognitive and social aspect. Conclusion: The bundle care intervention is a promising treatment for relieving the symptom cluster of fatigue, dyspnea and cough and can be applied in the clinical practice in the future.
