Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 輔導與諮商學系研究所 === 103 === This study aims to develop a Chronic Stress Scale, and the constructs of the scale are based on the outcome of literature review which reveals chronic stress as a process of physical and mental adaption. The research applied a snowball sampling to collect data, and the valid subjects were 1367. The results are as follows: first, the scale includes 23 items, and consists of four subscales—existential anxiety, perfectionism, burnout, and non-ambitiousness. The Cronbach’s α of the scale and subscales are .91, .88, .81, .72, and .6, and show good internal consistency reliability. Second, the construct reliabilities of the scale are between .72 and .88, and the construct validities are .52, .36, .43, and .41. It shows the scale has propriate reliability and validity.
