In the study, self-compiled questionnaire “Questionnaire for junior high school students’ smoking behavior and relationship withtheir family, classmates, and teachers” is adopted and stratified sampling method is used. 270questionnaires are delivered to 32 junior high schools in Chiayi City and Chiayi Countyand 198 valid questionnaires are retrieved.Data is analyzed through descriptive statistics, T test, one-way analysis of variance, Pearson product-moment correlation, and regression analysis. Based on different background variables, different situation in each aspect and the relevance will be discussed. From the findings, conclusions are as follows: 1. Junior high school students’ smoking behavior and relationship with their family, classmates, and teachers is high degree 2. In variables “In recent three months, do you ever smoke?” and “Dependent,”and so on, there are significant differencesbetween junior high school students’ smoking behavior and family relationship. Other background variables arenot. 3. In variables “Grade,”“Dropping out,” there are significant differences between junior high school students’ smoking behavior and classmates’ relationship. Others are not. 4. In variables “In recent three months, do you ever smoke?”“Direction to enter the next school,”there are significant differences between junior high school students’ smoking behavior and teachers’ relationship.
