Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立嘉義大學 === 史地學系研究所 === 103 === Among the various climate changes followed by the global warming caused by large amounts of emissions of Greenhouse gases, rainfall concentration has become a trend. The building materials of modern buildings and roads are mostly cement, asphalt, and etc. which are impervious material construction or laying, causing the land which originally helps conserve moisture to lose its function. The green building which can be able to retain both Modern living quality and water conservation will be the primary developing subject responding to the climate changes in future。 The water conservation index in Taiwanese green building index is expected to promote green building materials to be used on structure or road cover in order to increase or maintain the original water conservation ability. So the laying of asphalt, cement, PU and other impermeable pavement should be reduced or be replaced by the permeable pavement in order to reduce the impact on the environment caused by human development and respond to the impact of global warming as well. In this study, field experiment test the penetration versus time variation of permeable pavement, including Taipei grass, pebbles, small gravel, wood, coconut fiber, hollow bricks, chains tiles and water permeable PU and some other pavements. The result showed permeable pavements not only improve the permeability of the pavement which is not permeable but even part of the pavement permeability is better than the bare soil surface, such as the Manila grass and pebbles. Although the penetration efficiency of other pavement is less than that of bare soil surface, water absorption and water capacity of pore in pavement itself can increase the water conservation of the land and have the ability to strain the heavy rainfall. If the pavement has a larger loading demand, hollow brick or chain brick can be used. If the pavement only for pedestrians can choose pebbles, small gravel or wood veneer as pavement material. If no loading needs, but penetration improvement and water retention are primary considerations, Manila grass and coconut fiber pavement is preferred. If you need the pavement with impact absorbing ability, such as under pavement of park play facilities, permeable PU pavement and wood veneer can be adopted.
