Blast furnace gas contains large amount of dust particulates, carbon monoxide, carbon dioxide, hydrogen and etc. If the gas is emitted to the atmosphere directly, it causes not only the air pollution but also the wasting of energy. Hence, prior to releasing, the gas has to be purified by the dust collector system for the gas purification treatment. The purpose of using water pump in the dust collector system is to pressurize the water by converting the mechanical energy into the kinetic energy such that the liquid is able to be circulated in the system. It is one of the crucial devices in the system. Since the productivity of blast furnace increases with the growth of economy, as the economy is growing, the loading of the pump in the dust collector system becomes heavily. It is known that the efficiency and useful life of the pump strongly depends on the assembly precision and methods of the pump.
