Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 電機工程學系 === 103 === This thesis proposed an application of image recognition technology in parking lot security management system. It combined with the license plate recognition system, facial recognition system, and Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). License plate recognition system can be divided into three parts, in which image processing and license location will be done by Matlab, and character recognition was done by LabVIEW. Face recognition system can be divided into three parts, face component analysis, normalization and Principle Component Analysis (PCA). Finally, the RFID, license plate recognition, and face recognition are combined in LabVIEW user interface. According to the experimental results, there is good recognition accuracy in this system. It can effectively control the user information. It also reduces the risk and the cost compared to use traditional human security guards. Moreover it is easy to expand the system.
