Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 會計學系 企業高階管理(EMBA) === 103 === Due to recent changes in social structures, such as family patterns and the rise of the female work force, many families tend to be double-income entities. As a result, many school children need to be taken care of by professionals other than their parents. Likewise, it leads to the emergence of after school care services. This research aims to examine the two dimensions of “service quality” of the after school programs and the elementary school children parents’ “satisfaction” of those services in order to understand the differences in “service quality” and “satisfaction” of parents of the elementary school children with different “background factors.” This study employs literature review to establish the research framework and questionnaires to collect the data, with the parents of schoolchildren joining the after school program in Ming Sheng Elementary School of Changhua City as objects. This study collected 149 questionnaires, with 121 valid ones, at the return rate of 81.21%. After deleting the invalid questionnaires, SPSS software was used as tool to process the data. Analyses, including descriptive statistics analysis, reliability analysis, independent samples T testing, and ANOVA were conducted to understand the distribution of attribute data and proportion of the samples. The results were further discussed. This research conducted four reliability analyses of the two dimensions with “quality of communication,” “quality of teachers,” “satisfaction on facilities and prices,” and “service attitude and satisfaction.” According to the reliability analysis, the results imply “highly reliable.” The results can also serve as reference for further improvements to promote the quality of after school care services. This study also verifies the following hypothesis: 1.The parents’ evaluation of the quality of after school care service differs depending on the education level of the mothers. 2.The parents’ satisfaction of the quality of after school care service differs depending on the education level of the parents.
