碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 教育研究所 === 103 === This study aimed to investigate basketball player perception coach leadership behavior and organizational commitment for junior high school of Taichung City. The focus is to explore the differences and relationship of awareness among players from different backgrounds. The subjects are basketball players from Taichung City that have participated in the National Junior High Basketball League in 2014. The instrument is the basketball players. Awareness of coach’s leadership and organizational commitment for junior high school basketball team in Taichung City questionaire. Data collected are analyzed by means of descriptive statistics, t test, one-way ANOVA, Scheffe’s method, and Pearson’s product-moment correlation coefficient. The results for the survey are as below: 1. Junior high school basketball coaches in Taichung City value training and instruction the most. Junior high school basketball players in Taichung City show more efforts wishes to their team. 2. Men players score higher than female players for training and instruction,democratic behavior,social support and positive feedback. Female players score higher than men players for autocratic behaviors. Players who are trained less than one year are more aware of autocratic behaviors from the coach than those that have been coached for more than two years and less than three years. 3. Men players score higher than female play for organizational commitment. Men players scored higher than female play for coach gender of tendency to stay with the commitment. 4. The coaches’ leadership behaviors have a positive influence on the players’ organizational commitment.
