The study surveyed the thelytoky of Strumigenys liukueiensi. When the new alate virgin queen appear, we record the new alate virgin queen in the season, kept one or more alate virgin queen and 20 workers in an artificial nest. We record when the queen dealate, when they laying of eggs, the individual quantity of brood (egg, larva, pupa) and worker with continuous observation, learn its life cycle and thelytokous parthenogenesis. To learn the reproductive division by dissected and behavior. According to the result, S. liukueiensis reproduce new alate virgin queen in April to June and September to November, queens of S. liukueiensis can continuously produce eggs without mating, and produce amphiploid female worker and queen. Dissected and behavioral evidence indicates S. liukueiensis is obligate thelytoky. They can produce new workers mean 39.83 ± 0.69 days, this day is unaffected by the number of founding queen. Number of brood positive correlation with number of worker, but is too difficult to single queen provided the number of worker stably.
