Summary:碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 化學系 === 103 === Since Nitric oxide was proclaimed “Molecule of the Year” in 1992. And the research for the role of Nitric oxide in human body led to 1998 Nobel Prize. Nitric oxide and Nitrogen dioxide became a hot research issue. People keep working on fatty acid nitration mechanism. Because it’s hard to measure the energy level and transition state molecule structure, most of research use analysis chemical method to conjecture the probable mechanism. So we used the DFT theory method , a recently popular computational theory, to investigate arachidonic acids’ reaction mechanism. In this article, we discuss “How does Nitric oxide add to fatty acid?”、and “the hydrolysis of Nitro-fatty acids”
