The Research about Learning Motivation and School Adaptation for Athletics Classes of Junior High School Students in Changhua County

碩士 === 國立彰化師範大學 === 工業教育與技術學系 === 103 === This study aimed to explore the motivation to be enrolled of the students from the physical education classes in the Junior High Schools in Changhua County and theircurrent status of adaptation in their school, and to analyzethe differences in the motivation to be enrolled and thecurrent status of adaptation of the students of differentbackgrounds. Lastly, after summarizing the survey andresearch results, this study proposed some specificsuggestions as refereces for education administrationinstitutions, schools, and future research. The research population of this study was 2,156 students from the physical education classes in the juniorhigh schools in Changhua County. The sampling methodadopted was stratified and purposive sampling. A total of400 students were sampled from 10 schools, and 397questionnaires were retrieved, among which, 381 were valid. The response rate was 95%. The data were analyzed usingstatistical methods such as descriptive statistics,independent t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe's posterior comparison,and Pearson, and Pearson product-moment correlation. Theresearch results were summarized, analyzed, and discussed and the conclusions are as below: 1.The perceived motivation to be enrolled of the students from the physical education classes in the junior highschools in Changhua County was high and their and adaptation to school was good. 2.The difference in motivation to be enrolled of the students from the physical education classes in the juniorhigh schools in Changhua County of different genders,grades, types of specialty, seniority in sprorts specialtytraining, and intention to enter a higher school wassignificant. 3.The difference in adaptation to school of the students from the physical education classes in the junior highschools in Changhua County of different genders, types ofspecialty, seniority in sprorts specialty training, andintention to enter a higher school was significant. 4.The relationship between motivation to be enrolled and adaptation to school of the students from the physicaleducation classes in the junior high schools in ChanghuaCounty was positive and significant.
