So it does agree with the area of solar generator developments. The purpose is to enhance the efficiency of conversion of solar-to-electrical energy, and there have many factors to effect the conversion of solar-to-electrical energy. This thesis synthesize novel metal complexes to improve the solar-to-electrical conversion efficiencies. We design the new type metal complexes ( PC101-PC103 ) for dye-sensitized solar cell applications,There dyes exhibit beter electron injection and longer wavelength absorption than their congener with only one anchor. We also design the new type ligands Dipyridyl-carbazoles ( 1,8-Di ( pyrid-2’-yl ) Carbazoles )to chelate metal ion .We will probe the metal complexes influence for organic-dyes. We hope the metal complexes containing 1,8-di( pyrid-2’-yl ) carbazole (Dipyridyl-carbazoles) ligands for dye-sensitized solar cell to have the high-performance.
