Furthermore, as the price of the NAS is friendlier and the user interface is easy to set up, NAS is no longer an enterprise product but a consumer product in the market now. NAS starts to gain more spotlight in the market and ODM/OEM firms would like to win more businesses from the NAS branded companies. This thesis intends to provide ODM/OEM firms the perspectives from the branded companies about their vendor selection criteria by applying the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP). With this thesis, the ODM/OEM could evaluate its own strengths and weaknesses and use them as the future development guideline in order to become NAS qualified vendors. The results of this research show the most important vendor selection dimensions in sequence from quality, technology, price, delivery and service. The top 3 dimensions weight around 80% in total. And the most important 5 key factors are quality conformance, price competitiveness, product reliability, capability of product design and integration, quality control and assurance.
