Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 物理研究所 === 103 === In order to establish a production line of organic light-emitting diode(OLED) in our laboratory. It’s necessary to research a process for large-area OLED. We research on a continuous delivering equipment for large-area OLED blade coating whose main function is to provide materials while the blade is coating a film. Therefore, we can coat a long film and achieve the goal of coating a large size OLED. The main goal of this thesis ixs to improve the process of large-area OLED and to enhance the uniformity and efficiency of large-area OLED. First, the stability of OLED is enhanced by the continuous delivering method. The next step is to reduce the surface defects on the film. Then, changing the coating method, the materials are delivered directly on the blade. Finally, adjusting the parameters of the continuous delivering process and solving the problem of the large-area OLED enhance uniformity of the film and decrease the leakage of the OLED. Now, using the small molecule material as the basis, the large-area green OLED is successfully made by continuous delivering equipment. The luminance is 5896 cd/m2 at 12 V and the current efficiency is 24.6 cd/A at 12 V. Using the best parameter to coating a large-area OLED film by continuous delivering equipment and breaking into two small pieces of device, the luminance of small-area OLED is 11890 cd/m2 at 10 V and the current efficiency of small-area OLED is 16.8 cd/A at 10 V. The result of the experiment shows that the necessity of the continuous delivering equipment for the OLED mass production.
