Description
Summary:碩士 === 國立交通大學 === 工業工程與管理系所 === 103 === Warehouse function within Container freight station (CFS) in general can be described as freight forwarding facility. The basic processes that occur in the warehouse are receiving, put-away, picking, and delivery the cargo. Closest open location rule used for storing the cargo into the racking system. One way to estimate the performance of warehouse is by calculating the expected travelling time (distance) from the layout. In this study, we use the uniform approximation to obtain the value of probabilities and use weighted distance as a measure to determine the motion distance for each storage location. Further, the proposed layout will compare its performance based on these value.
