By the 3D integration of information, the communication and integration of the building life cycle are combined. The custom functions put of the plans in all aspects of the software of BIM. It makes the setting and the functions of the software more complete and efficient. This study for the design of the Steel wind bracing, making the results of the design more suitable for the function of norms. The API function could calculate automatically the data of bolt quantity and types and the thickness of the plate. It helps users design and establish the TEKLA structure more conveniently. Finally, the example of the model to IFC format integrate in BIM platforms, through examples demonstrate the model, presented findings convenience and practicality.
