Team chemistry, training regimen, peer manners, and so on are all constructed based upon the rule. The hierarchy of seniority acts as a powerful system which has the capability of disciplining between members. However, the role of power in sport team are rarely examined. Therefore, this article examined the power in the hierarchy of seniority and how athletes to be influenced and use by power. The material for this paper was drawn from observations and in-depth interviews conducted with athletes in track and field. The results of this study showed: There were different patterns of power in hierarchy of senior, which are based upon sport items, leader, sport performances and the achievements. Although, in the strictly training process, the junior should follow the rules of the team which set up by the senior and can not break the rules. But the above factors break with the way of the traditional power. In this study, power which is dynamic system not only demonstrate the strict discipline on members but also have a way to let members reverse the power system.
