Summary: | 碩士 === 國立體育大學 === 運動科學研究所 === 103 === In the past, professional weight training equipment was exclusively used by national or A-level athletes. With the popularization of public sports centers, private fitness clubs and communities, as well as the fitness rooms in tall buildings, people have had the access to the sport. Recently, various sensors of the micro-electromechanical system have been widely applied in smart handheld devices. With the advancement of hardware, the application of the sensors has increasingly expanded. Is it possible to apply them to weight training? Using the acceleration sensor and relevant software, this study developed a supporting system for weight training. In the initial stage, this study analyzed the functions of various kinds of sport-supporting software, so as to explore the possibility of the integration of software and hardware in the operation method, the application of sensor and the function of software. This study also explored relevant documents and practical demands, and built a functional framework according to the systematic analysis. This study used PC of Intel Pentium D level for hardware, and installed Android Developer Tools Bundle in Windows XP for software. After writing the programme on the basis of the demands, this study took the debugging procedure to test all the functions, and applied the integrated modules to weight training equipment for demonstration and modification. The system developed in this study can assist weight training receivers. Apart from forming a basic training schedule according to the specification of equipment and the objective of training, it can facilitate the operation of the equipment with automatic counting and the voice prompt. Moreover, the information recorded in the training can be used for future inquiry and reference.
