Summary: | 碩士 === 國立體育大學 === 運動科學研究所 === 103 === The whole body vibration training is a popular training method in recent years which could bring positive effects to the basketball players. The dribbling speed is one of the most important motor skills of the athlete that might be influence by the ball bounce. Purpose: The purpose of this study was to investigate the immediate effects of whole body vibration training on special physical stamina and dribbling speed at different bounce basketballs of university male basketball players. Methods: A total of nineteen college basketball male players were recruited in this study. The athletes dribbled three different bounce basketballs before and after whole body vibration training, low bounce (LB), medium bounce (MB) and high bounce (HB) which were recorded by timing gates. Also, the 30 meters sprint and the total time of agility T-test were recorded by timing gates. The counter movement jump (CMJ) height was record by high speed video camera and analyzed by Kwon 3D software. Two-Way mixed design ANOVA and Scheffe method were applied to test the differences of dribbling speed between pre and post tests of whole body vibration training. One-way ANOVA was applied to examine the differences of 30 meters sprint, total time of agility T-test and CMJ at pre and post tests. Results: The main results were as follows. There were significant effects among dribbling speed of different bounce basketballs (p < .05), HB>MB>LB. There was no significant difference of dribbling speed between pre and post test (p > .05), and on significant interaction with ball bounce (p > .05). The main effects test showed that the HB was significantly superior to LB (p < .05). No significant differences were existed in 30 meters sprint and the total time of agility T-test (p > .05) but the CMJ (p < .05). The dribbling speed was been affected by the bounce and the athletes could improved the speed of shuttling dribbling. The height of CMJ of the athletes can be boosted immediately via whole body vibration training. However, the dribbling speed, 30 meters sprint and the total time of agility T-test were almost constant after whole body vibration training. The range of ball bounce was from 1200mm-1400mm. In this study, the results demonstrated the ball bounce would be make a huge influence to dribbling and which should be fully considered with basketball rules. In the future, the whole body vibration training should be taking into account in warm up program to improve the power immediately.
