碩士 === 國立體育大學 === 休閒產業經營學系 === 103 === The purposes of the study were aimed to discover the relationship between junior high school student recreation participation, academic achievement and happiness. The research method was quantitative and the research objectives were Taipei junior high school students. The research tools were a close-ended questionnaire and student achievement scores in school. By using purposive sampling, the researcher collected 384 valid questionnaires. And the researcher analysis the data by conducting descriptive and correlation regression analysis. The results of the study were (1) cultural activities recreation participation has a positive relationship with language, social and arts achievements; (2) sports recreation participation has a negative relationship with language, mathematics, social, science, arts and integrated achievements;(3) social activities recreation participation has a negative relationship with mathematics, social and science achievements; (4) recreation participation has a positive relationship with happiness; (5) academic achievement have positive relationship with happiness; (6) health, public media and cultural activities recreation participation have predictive power for happiness. Finally, the researcher suggests that (1) promote cultural activities participation ; (2) introduce cultural activities and self-control; (3) develop recreational camp during summer vacation and leisure time for improving students’ academic achievement and happiness.
