Summary: | 碩士 === 國立暨南國際大學 === 輔導與諮商研究所 === 103 === The purpose of the study is to investigate the relationships among family system differentiation, attachment styles and marital satisfaction of newlyweds. The subjects are 200 adults (100 couples) who got married in 5 years. For the empirical study, three questionnaires are included: (1) Differentiation in the Family System Scale (2) Couple Attachment Questionnaires (3) Marital Satisfaction Scale. Data are analyzed by descriptive statistics, chi-square, t-test, oneway ANOVA, Pearson’s correlation, stepwise multiple regression and paired-samples t-test.
The main findings are as follows: Family differentiation has significant differences in duration of marriage, the marriage condition in family-of-origin and having child or not among newlyweds in 5 years ; Attachment style has significant differences in gender ; Marital satisfaction has significant differences in duration of marriage and having child or not ; There are positive correlation between family differentiation and marital satisfaction for newlyweds ; Marital satisfaction is significant correlated with attachment style of newlyweds ; Family differentiation is significant correlated with attachment style of newlyweds ; The most effective predictors of marital satisfaction are “fearful attachment style”, ”dismissing attachment style” and “parental subsystem” ; The couple has similar level of differentiation in family-of-origin ; Attachment style of husbands is significant correlated with wives attachment style.
According to the results above, suggestions to different aspects are mentioned.
