Summary: | 碩士 === 國立成功大學 === 台灣文學系 === 103 === In this paper, the worship of ancestors in Holy Glory Temple of I-Kuan-Dao’s as the main object, intends to focus consistently placed in the worship’s origin and development process, as well as the religious ritual for what the internal sense how through this ritual cohesion followers, and for the development of the religious group for a study.
Collection and analysis of the literature can be combined with actual fieldwork data, including field observations, in-depth interviews and other participants to do the following several points.
First, the development of Holy Glory Temple;
Second, the formation of worship rituals;
Third, processes of ancestral rituals of the temple;
Fourth, identity of participants in ancestral rituals;
Fifth, the value of ancestral rituals;
To find out the particularity and distinctiveness of Chinese customs after integrating with elements of I-Kuan-Dao.
By discussing, in view of the traditional ceremony is formalized and moral anarchy, Holy Glory Temple promotes the Ritual and Musical Edification. In addition, adding I-Kuan Tao’s doctrine—“All Homologous” to restore social orders and goodness. Being more precisely, through the ancestral worship, hoping to reach to the realm of the Confucian “ Nature and Human in One ”.
